Application of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679)

Student information

The data collected as part of the organization of your internships and academic activities (Last name, first name, identifier, nationality, date of birth, photo, e-mail and postal address, telephone numbers, gender, academic results, cohorts) are recorded in a computerized file by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Liège in order to organize internships and teaching activities, coordinate these with external partners and meet health obligations relating to these. This data will be processed for the duration of your training and then archived. This data will be processed on the basis of the public interest mission of the University of Liège.

This data will be transmitted to the following third parties: internal and external partners organizing the internship or academic activity, members of the Internship Commission, Occupational Health Protection Service, future students wishing to obtain information about the internship you have completed.

In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the law of July 30, 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you can exercise your rights relating to this personal data (right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition, portability) by contacting the ULiège Data Protection Officer (dpo@uliege.be - Monsieur le Délégué à la Protection des Données, Bât. B9 Cellule " GDPR ", Quartier Village 3, Boulevard de Colonster 2, 4000 Liège, Belgium). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (https://www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be, contact@apd-gba.be).

Information about teachers and tutors

Data collected in connection with the organization of internships, teaching activities and dissertation supervision (surname, first name; in addition, for internship supervisors and as appropriate : nationality, date of birth, photo, e-mail and postal addresses, telephone numbers, gender, information about your diploma and professional background, certificate of authorization to practice, working hours and team composition, motivation to be an internship supervisor) are recorded in a computerized file by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Liège in order to organize internships, teaching activities and dissertation supervision. This data will be kept until you inform us otherwise. This data will be processed on the basis of the public interest mission of the University of Liège.

This data will be transmitted to the following third parties: students, internal and external partners organizing the internship or academic activity, members of the Internship Commission, professional bodies.
